With a professional career of 25 years, serving as the Chief Executive Officer of a multi-million dollar foundation North Carolina (The Community Foundation of NC East) Melissa Spain has worked with high-net-worth families, corporations, wealth management firms, and non-profit organizations. She has advocated for hundreds of organizations, lobbying for legislation to protect and promote philanthropic/charitable causes throughout North Carolina and the United States. In addition, she has served on numerous Board of Directors for banks and fiduciary institutions throughout her career. Quite proudly she is The Founder/Owner of Legacy & Worth Wines of Distinction, a philanthropic based wine company that she founded in 2023, as a result of her passion for people and fine wines, and a deeply rooted spiritual approach to bringing people together for meaningful wine experiences while benefiting philanthropic causes throughout the United States and globally.
